Tampa Bay Rays rookie Randy Arozarena has taken the baseball world by storm. In Game 4 of the 2020 World Series he added on to his already impressive resume.

With the Rays down 2-1 in the series and 2-0 in the fourth inning of the game, Arozarena smoked a pitch from Julio Urias to right-center field for a solo home run.

That home run was his ninth of the postseason, a Major League record.

To say what Arozarena is doing right now is somewhat surprising would be an understatement. The rookie certainly has a lot of power, but he still has more home runs (9) in less games in the postseason (18) than he had is 23 games in the regular season (7).

Tampa Bay will need him to continue raking if they plan on coming back in the World Series though.

Not only are they down 2-1 in the series, but they are still currently in a tie game in Game 4. If they end up losing this game, they will be in a devastating 3-1 deficit to the incredibly dangerous Los Angeles Dodgers.

This has certainly been an entertaining postseason though, and Arozarena has been a major part of that.

While many will argue that this postseason is longer than any from the past, it does not really diminish how impressive the rookie has been.

Hitting .382 during the entire postseason on it's own would be incredible. Doing it while also breaking the single postseason home run record is absolutely nuts.

What's crazy about it is, there are still more games to be played. At a bare minimum, there will be one more game following this. Meanwhile, there could be up to three more games following this one.

So Randy Arozarena certainly still has a chance to tack on some more home runs to his already impressive total.

At the same time, Corey Seager of the Dodgers is right on his tail. He has eight home runs so far in these playoffs. He is liable to crack a few at any moment, so he could easily tie or even surpass Arozarena with a few more games left.

No matter what happens, it looks like we can expect more fireworks in this World Series.
