Since the trade deadline this past season, the Detroit Pistons have taken into consideration the scenario of moving former All-Star center Andre Drummond.

It now appears that Detroit may have a serious suitor for Drummond's services, as the Sacramento Kings are believed to have some significant interest in working out a deal for him:

Although these are just discussions at this point in time, things could take a more serious turn if the Pistons do want to move on from Drummond for the right price. Last summer, Drummond signed a lucrative long-term extension over five years for $127.1 million.

The 23-year-old is coming off another productive campaign, averaging a double-double with 13.6 points and 13.8 rebounds along with 1.1 blocks and 1.5 steals per game. He also recorded 49 double-doubles, tied for eighth-most in the league.

Following a disappointing season that saw the Pistons take a step back rather than forward behind their young core group, the front office is looking at options to restructure in hopes of putting them back on the right track. Detroit has also delved into the possibility of moving veteran guard Reggie Jackson.

The Los Angeles Clippers are also believed to have interest in Drummond, possibly trading All-Star center DeAndre Jordan for him. The Clips already gauged possible interest around the league for Jordan earlier this week.

With the 2017 NBA Draft just an hour away, things could heat up on this front if the Pistons are presented a stronger offer from the Kings, or possibly another team.
