The Detroit Pistons, heading into this past season, hold high hopes that they could build off the success they experienced the year prior.

The organization had constructed a roster of promising young talent led by former All-Star center Andre Drummond and point guard Reggie Jackson. However, Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders is reporting that the team is gauging the interest across the league from other teams.

There had been much talk surrounding both of their future in Detroit throughout this past season that became prominently mentioned around February's trade deadline. All of these have begun to ramp up because it appears that the Pistons have hit the wall as being an average team in the Eastern Conference that could at most vie for a playoff spot and no further.

Last summer, Drummond inked a lucrative long-term extension over five years worth $127.1 million. The 23-year-old put forth another productive campaign averaging a double-double with 13.6 points and 13.8 rebounds along with 1.1 blocks and 1.5 steals per game. He also recorded 49 double-doubles, which was tied for eighth most in the league.

Meanwhile, Jackson did take a step back in terms of production seeing a significant drop in his scoring, averaging 14.5 points on 41.9 percent shooting from the field, which was the lowest shooting mark since his rookie year. On top of that, Jackson is also locked into a long-term deal as he's in the third season of his five-year, $80 million contract.

With all that in mind, the Pistons will likely be active for much of the offseason in search for potential packages in hopes of getting a huge haul in return.
