Junior Galette is garnering a lot of interest from the NFC West. After visiting with the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, the veteran pass rusher will now visit with their division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks, on Tuesday, per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.

Galette, 31, has been available on the free-agent market since the Washington Redskins pulled their contract offer for him in March.

After receiving little interest over the past couple of months, Galette hinted at possible retirement. But as this week has proven, there’s still a good chance a capable veteran pass rusher like Galette can find a spot in the league.

Galette played all 16 games last year for the Redskins after missing all of the 2015 and 2016 seasons due to devastating Achilles tears. He recorded three sacks and 20 tackles as part of the Redskins’ edge rusher rotation.

Prior to his injury problems, Galette had back-to-back double-digit sack seasons in his last two years with the New Orleans Saints. But while that version of Galette is unlikely to return given the injuries coupled with his advancing age, he showed last season that he can still contribute as a rotational rusher.

The Seahawks could certainly stand to add another capable pass rusher on the edge after losing veterans Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril this offseason. They recently signed linebacker Erik Walden following the release of former first-round pick, defensive end Marcus Smith.

Meanwhile, starting defensive end Dion Jordan is still on the mend after suffering a stress reaction in his shin and remains questionable to return for Week 1.
