The never-ending war of attrition between former players-turned-NBA-analysts Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley — both Hall of Famers at that — only gets better with age, as the two panelists managed to get into it even during a Kevin Durant interview after the Golden State Warriors dispatched the Rockets 126-85 on Sunday night.

via Kristian Winfield of SB Nation:

O'Neal to Durant: “How did you convince them to let you play guard as tall as you are? I wanted to play guard.”

Barkley: “You've got to be able to move, Shaq.”

O'Neal: “I moved past you. I moved past you on them leaderboards, too.”

As usual, O'Neal is ruthless with his comebacks and this is one that the Warriors superstar likely enjoyed, given Barkley's known dislike for his teammate Draymond Green, whom he targeted yet again, only to have Durant flip the cards on him on live TV, in effect, silencing Barkley for a moment.

O'Neal is well ahead of Barkley in the all-time scoring list, sitting as the eighth leading scorer of the NBA with 28,596 points for his career. The Big Diesel also has a decent lead in rebounding, snatching 13,099 boards, compared to Barkley's 12,546.

Championships? Well, let's not talk about those for Chuck's sake.
