Philadeplhia 76ers guard J.J. Redick is the latest member of the team that has gone public about the team's desire to recruit LeBron James in the offseason. Not exactly shocking, given how close many people the Sixers are to a title.

The Duke alumni recently guested on the Bill Simmons podcast and, of course, LeBron and his future was one of the topics that had to be covered. Redick, who himself is also set to become an unrestricted free agent in the summer, stated his belief that the Sixers, and any other team for that matter, must not let an opportunity to sign James pass.

“I’m not just speaking about the 76ers here, just in general, if you have the chance to get LeBron James, you go for it and you figure out the rest later,” J.J. Redick told Simmons.

Philadelphia has been identified by many as one of the frontrunners to acquire the services of The King for the 2018-19 season. The prospect of playing alongside such a dynamic and promising bunch of young guns will be difficult to pass up for the three-time NBA Champion. Surely LeBron would love to impart his knowledge and experience to the likes of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Another championship ring or two wouldn't be bad as well.

The 76ers outperformed expectations this season. However, their lack of experience was exposed in their series against the shorthanded Boston Celtics. Adding LeBron James to the equation might just be the final piece of the puzzle that brings them back to their glory days.

Aside from the Sixers, the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, and his current team, the Cleveland Cavaliers are the other three teams that are reportedly being seriously considered by James.
