Doc Rivers has been the stuff of headlines of late after his Sixers were eliminated by the Miami Heat in the second round of the playoffs. It was another bitter end to Philly's season which has led to some folks questioning Rivers' job security with the team.

As it turns out, however, the Sixers are standing pat with Rivers. A new report from NBA insider Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports further supports this notion:

Yahoo Sources: The Philadelphia 76ers do not plan to meet with Doc Rivers to discuss his future and maintains the franchise is committed to the head coach and will work with him to improve the roster.

Multiple sources have already indicated that the Sixers intend to keep Rivers on board. Even general manager Daryl Morey has already stated that the 60-year-old's job is safe and that the team intends to move forward with Rivers at the helm.

It is worth noting, though, that here have been some whispers about James Harden not getting along too well with Rivers. As a matter of fact, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith expressed his belief that Harden could be trying to force Rivers out in favor of former coach Mike D'Antoni.

There is so much uncertainty surrounding the Sixers right now and this is likely going to be the trend for them in the offseason.
