Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is known throughout the league for his never-ending trash talk. He is has gotten into scraps with multiple players, including a playoff dustup with Marcus Morris of the Boston Celtics. The Sixers star's most recent target was Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond.

The Sixers and the Pistons faced off in Detroit and the game ended up being an overtime thriller, with the Pistons taking a 133-132 victory behind Blake Griffin's monster 50-point game.

The Pistons victory was marred by Drummond's ejection. With less than a minute left in regulation, Embiid scored a layup then appeared to get elbowed and knocked to the ground by Drummond after the play.

The Pistons' big man was quickly ejected, and Embiid got up and demonstratively gestured as if throwing Drummond out of the game, like a baseball umpire.

Andre Drummond had some last words for Joel Embiid as he left the floor, pointing angrily before exiting the arena.

While the Pistons got the last laugh by winning the game, Embiid threw shots at Drummond postgame in an interview with Sixers beat writer Keith Pompey.

Joel Embiid claimed that Andre Drummond did connect to his face on the play that resulted in the ejection and that he is constantly in his opponent's head.

The Sixers center did have a great game, with a near triple-double of 33 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, and three blocks on an efficient 11-of-20 shooting. However, it wasn't enough to win the game for his team, who was missing Ben Simmons.

Embiid is certainly not going to tone down his incessant trash talk. Players in the NBA will have to learn to ignore this chatter or will face the same fate as Drummond.
