NBA legend Reggie Miller thinks the Phoenix Suns are likely going to lose in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks. But all hope is not lost, as Chris Paul can save them.

According to Miller, Paul holds the key in the Suns winning the crucial showdown and extending it to a Game 7 in Phoenix. The Indiana Pacers icon said that CP3 needs to have a “signature game” like he did against the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers in order to give the Arizona-based team a fighting chance against Milwaukee, who has all the momentum right now.

“We have not really seen that this series. Chris Paul hasn't had a signature game yet. I think we're all waiting on that. Booker has been great. But the other half of that equation is Chris Paul. He had signature moments against the Lakers, against Denver. Games I'm talking about, and versus the Clippers. There was always one game he had, where he was phenomenal,” Miller said on what  can change the fate of the Suns in the Bucks' first closeout opportunity, via The Dan Patrick Show.

“Game 6, it has to be that for him. If not, then this series is over.”

Indeed, Chris Paul hasn't had a remarkable game yet in the 2021 NBA Finals. While he tallied a near double-double of 32 points and nine assists in Game 1, it's unlike his previous signature outings when he totally dominated and took control of proceedings. Remember how he scored 41 points and tallied four rebounds, eight assists and three steals in Game 6 against the Clippers?

Fortunately for the Suns, Paul knows very well what he needs to do. He is also embracing the moment and taking the challenge to lead his team to victory.

“It’s definitely exciting, Something that Coach and everybody has been saying: If you went to the beginning of the season and said we had a chance to be where we are right now, would you take it? Absolutely. Absolutely. And we get a chance to determine the outcome,” Paul said on the crucial Game 6.

With the Bucks leading 3-2, the Suns simply have no room for error. And as Reggie Miller said it, it all lies on Paul to set the tone for the team in what could be the most important game of their careers.
