Once again, the Phoenix Suns put up a great showing against one of the best teams in the NBA this season. They may have lost 108-102 against the Houston Rockets, but they have nothing to be ashamed of. Except for Kelly Oubre Jr.

Don't get us wrong here. Oubre Jr. did great, finishing with 22 points, four rebounds, and two assists. It's just that he did something that will most likely be included in Shaqtin A Fool sometime in the future.

Oubre Jr. was successful in doing the similar dunk against the Rockets earlier this season, but for some reason, history wasn't able to repeat itself for him in the game.

Nevertheless, the Suns gave the Rockets a run for their money. In fact, they have been impressive against contenders recently. They have already won against the Milwaukee Bucks (twice) and the Golden State Warriors this year.

Although Phoenix won't be making the playoffs, the young core of Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton, Josh Jackson, and Oubre Jr. continues to show growth this year. Their win-loss record might not show it but individually, they have made big strides in terms of their development.

The Suns are once again expected to get a high lottery pick in this year's draft, which means they can add another young prospect to their already developing core. If Phoenix will be able to sign quality veterans and a good coach this summer, they might be able to make the playoffs next year.
