Karl-Anthony Towns is continuing the excellent start he’s had to his professional career. Towns has been proving that he can co-exist with the new additions of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the summer, while playing at a very high level.

Proof of this is the versatile big man making history on Monday night. Karl-Anthony Towns joins Dwight Howard as the only two players in league history to collect at least 3,000 points and 2,000 rebounds before their 22nd birthdays.

The Timberwolves star’s feat definitely says a lot about how good he has been since being selected first overall back in the 2015 draft. Together with Andrew Wiggins, they are seen as the future of the franchise, as they are both still very young and have already shown glimpses of their true potential, which is a scary sight for the rest of the competition.

The Timberwolves' very successful offseason was highlighted by the acquisition of a lot of talent to compliment the young duo. All-Stars Jimmy Butler and Jeff Teague, together with veterans Jamal Crawford and Taj Gibson, are now in their fold to provide valuable insights to their young teammates, which will only make them better.

With Karl-Anthony Town’s skill set and ability to dominate games, the feat he reached on Monday night will most likely not be the last of his promising career. As long as he can stay healthy and continue to work hard, Towns can be one of the best big men in the NBA, and even possibly lead the Timberwolves to a lot of successful seasons in the years to come.
