Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns is not pleased with Minnesota's performance during their three-game slide, and he let it be known.

Timberwolves beat writer for the Star Tribune, Chris Hine, posted Towns' reaction after the game Wednesday.

You can sense the growing frustration from Towns. He led the team to the playoffs in 2017-2018, but he has seen Minnesota continue to underperform ever since. All that despite the fact he continues to dominate–with his assists and defensive stats continuing to climb.

Yet, the Timberwolves have failed to reach the postseason each of the last three seasons. They have been among the league's worst teams the last couple of years.

Following Wednesday's loss, Towns proceeded to point directly to one side of the floor.

Since the 2017-18 season, Minnesota's defense has continued to get worse. They allowed 114 points per game the following season. Then over 117 points per game in both years since.

Despite only allowing just over 106 points per game this season through seven games, Towns is not impressed. He did what good leaders do and included himself among the problems.

The hope was that the acquisition of Patrick Beverly will help the Timberwolves backcourt defensively. It is early in the season, with mixed results. But it is nice to see that Karl-Anthony Towns is not willing to stand by and just let another slide out of contention happen.
