Derrick Rose, who just notched a career-night, got a championship-like celebration inside the Minnesota Timberwolves locker room.

Check out the clip below posted by Ashley Nevel. As Rose entered the locker room, his teammates showered him with water and all sorts of drinks as if they just won a championship:

Towards the end of the video, Rose vented out his emotion by screaming. His career night is the culmination of all the struggles he's endured since the string of knee injuries which seemingly put his rising career to a grinding halt. Critics dismissed his career as over and done with but Rose persevered to remain healthy.

Everyone in the NBA expressed their congratulations to Rose. Some even declared that the former MVP is back at it again. But no one could be happier than his very own teammates. Not only did Rose unleash his old form, but they also escaped a 128-125 victory over the Utah Jazz.

Rose's performance, coupled with the win, is a good boost to the team's morale. It's been a relatively tumultuous situation for the franchise so far, given Jimmy Butler's trade demands and subsequent behavior. Butler sat out tonight as the Timberwolves continue to look for a trade partner.

And given Rose's performance, perhaps it's safe to assume that even without Butler, the Wolves can and will win.
