Is this the one thing that can save Among Us from being a dead game? Indie games have taken the gaming community by storm, with small companies showing everyone that it doesn't take a massive budget to make great games. Look at the successes of Undertale and the Untitled Goose Game, these games collectively took the hearts of the indie gaming community. But what if, these indie games all had a crossover? It's not unheard of for bigger companies to have crossovers, it's the reason why you get your butt handed to you by Nicki Minaj in Call of Duty, but indie companies tend to keep to themselves. In a move that is stirring the gaming community, Among Us, the global phenomenon that broke friendships all over the world, has announced a crossover with not just one game but several indie games. Although not confirmed, Among Us posted a graphic that hinted at least the Untitled Goose Game and A Hat In Time. Crossovers amongst indie companies are unheard of and this could potentially be a landmark event showcasing the creativity, diversity, and community-driven spirit to create excellent games.
