Kevin Durant is, needless to say, very active on social media. From posts to replies, the Slim Reaper has always had a prominent voice off the court. And just today, he took to Twitter to clear the air with Warrior fans, to mixed results.

KD joined a Twitter Space to chat with some speakers accusing him of having a problem with Golden State's fan base and Stephen Curry in particular. To that, Kevin Durant reiterated that he “didn't give a s–t” about who was better on the Warriors or who got cheered the loudest.

Kevin Durant believed most of the drama was being fueled by the media, wishing only to push a narrative in the Bay. He went deeper talking about Ethan Strauss, an author who wrote The Victory Machinea book about the Warriors championship dynasty. Within the book, accusations were made claiming Kevin was complaining about receiving no love from Warriors fans. To that, KD simply said:

You believe Ethan Strauss over me?

It's hard to argue with everything Kevin Durant has said. Ever since his controversial signing with the Golden State Warriors back in 2016, the media has hounded KD at every turn. To any fan reading the news, it seemed the Warriors were on the cusp of implosion every day. And yet, the dynasty kept marching on, with Durant helping bring Oakland two more NBA championships.

Without KD, some would argue that the Warriors never would have become the record-shattering entity they became. Kevin Durant easily became an icon for the franchise, and received his praise and then some for his time there.

Regardless of what you say about Kevin Durant, you can't deny what the man has accomplished. And as it seems, he wouldn't really care what you say anyway.
