Eyes went wide when fans and TV audience saw Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry swear on live TV after making two clutch plays on MVP frontrunner James Harden of the Houston Rockets.

Even his teammates were impressed by him doing so, knowing it's unlike his character to use swear words at all.

“That was funny,” said his Splash Brother Klay Thompson. “I hope Riley didn't see it. Got Oracle pretty fired up.”

“That's a rare occurrence. I've never really seen Steph use that language, but that is what the playoffs brings out of you. So… don't do that at home, kids. It's just once in a while.”

Curry erupted for a game-high 35 points after two underwhelming performances in Games 1 and 2 of the series. The former two-time MVP regained his shooting touch, making 13-of-23 from the floor and 5-of-12 from distance, at one point making eight-straight baskets, which put him back in the groove he hoped to regain in this Western Conference Finals.

The swearing was just a byproduct of this performance high, leading his team to a playoff-record 16th-straight home win and helping cement the greatest point differential in franchise history with a commanding 41-point win over the Rockets.
