The Dallas Mavericks-Golden State Warriors showdown on Saturday featured a classic duel between superstars Luka Doncic and Stephen Curry. Once the final horn sounded, Doncic admitted he was left in awe of just how unstoppable Curry is, especially when he gets hot.

According to Mavs playmaker, he thought all of Steph's shots would be going in every  time he puts the ball up.

Luka Doncic's assessment of Steph Curry's offensive brilliance was on point, as the two-time MVP came away with his second-highest scoring output of the season with 57 points. The three-time NBA champion made 19 of his 31 field goals (including a phenomenal 11-of-19 from past the arc). The Warriors sharpshooter also had five assists, two rebounds and two steals in 37 minutes.\

Curry came out firing from the start, as he already had seven made triples in the first 24 minutes of the contest. In the end, however, it was Doncic and the Mavs who got the last laugh after eking out a razor-close 134-32 victory at American Airlines Center.

The Slovenian prodigy didn't do too bad himself either, putting up all-around numbers of 42 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists. He tried to go toe-to-toe with the Warriors superstar, hitting seven threes and going 12-for-23 from the field overall in 38 minutes. He also received great support from Kristaps Porzingis who had 25 points, while Tim Hardaway Jr. and Derek Brunson added 19 and 18, respectively.

Curry may have finished with the better numbers, but Doncic would definitely take the W all day. The Mavs managed to bounce back nicely from the 31-point beating they received from the Warriors in their last outing in the same arena.
