Since reports came out of Kyrie Irving was demanding a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers, a lot of speculations already emerged on what his real reason is for it, and which team he’ll play for next.

Many quickly thought of it as him having issues playing alongside LeBron James, which made some players and other members of the NBA community give their thoughts on the possible trade.

The latest is Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry, during a recent interview with the Associated Press via ESPN. The former back-to-back MVP admitted that he does not know all the specifics about it, but also said that at this point, he is not surprised with all the chatter involving the Cavaliers point guard, and the King.

“I don't know the ins and outs of what conversations are going on,” said Curry. “It's obviously surprising, but at the end of day nothing's really surprising when it comes to story lines and things like that from year to year. It's just kind of the nature of the beast. I'm sure if something does happen I'll be able to talk about it more but right now he's still on Cleveland's team.”

Curry does have a deep understanding of the state of the NBA these days, and that no one is safe from being included in any trade talks. His comments are also considered to be on the safe side, as he clearly does not want to give any comments that could haunt him in the future.

For now, Irving remains with the Cavs and there’s no clear direction where he’ll be headed to next, despite the number of teams that appear to have interest in his services.

Curry on the other hand, just secured a max contract last month that will keep him in Golden State, as the team looks to win more championships and continue its three-year run of success.
