Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry secured his second NBA scoring title in the first quarter of Sunday's showdown against the Memphis Grizzlies, officially beating out Bradley Beal with a bucket. Curry entered the game with a scoring average of 31.8 points per game and needed just three points to become the scoring champ.

Here's the shot that did it:

In the process, Curry became just the second player in NBA history to win a scoring title at the age of 33 or older. To the surprise of nobody, Michael Jordan is the oldest player to win a scoring title at 35 years old:

Curry also joins Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players to win multiple scoring titles, MVPs and championships.

The Warriors star won his other scoring title back in the 2015-16 season. Curry put up 30.1 points per game to lead Golden State to a 73-9 regular-season record. He shot 50.4% from the field and 45.4% from 3-point range in one of the best offensive seasons of all time.

Curry hasn't been quite as efficient this season, but he still entered Sunday's game shooting an impressive 48.3% from the field and 42.1% on 3-pointers on 12.6 long-ball attempts per game.

It has been a tour de force for Curry this season after he missed most of the 2019-20 campaign with an injury. While there were plenty of people questioning Curry's greatness, he has proved just how legendary he is as a scorer, not just a shooter.

With Curry leading the way, the Warriors are heading for the play-in tournament. Sunday's game against the Grizzlies will determine whether they're in the 7/8 game or the 9/10 game. The sharpshooter had 13 points, five assists and four rebounds in the first half against Memphis.
