Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry gave the Utah Jazz hope of a comeback, only to break their hearts in the final seconds of Monday's game.

After staging a 12-0 run in the closing minutes of the game and taking the lead 116-114, the Jazz thought they were headed for the win. However, Curry apparently had other plans for the Warriors, as he did what he does best: stepping up in the  clutch.

With 15 seconds remaining, Curry was able to create some separation from his defender off a hand-off from Draymond Green. He was then automatic from the top  of the arc, banking the 3-pointer to send the Chase Center crowd into a frenzy.

The best part of the shot? Stephen Curry's smile after the shot—seemingly rubbing salt to the open wound of the Jazz.

Curry ended the game with 36 points, four rebounds and six assists, as he further cemented his lead in his scoring title race with Bradley Beal. Most importantly though, the Warriors have improved to 36-33 after winning their last three games.

The Warriors are a virtual lock for the play-in tournament, and with the way Curry is playing, they should like their chances of getting into the playoffs. If the standings remain as it is, Golden State will be facing the Los Angeles Lakers first to fight for the seventh seed.

Who's betting on Curry and the Warriors to win that showdown? Well, let's just say it's always deadly to bet against the greatest shooter of all time.
