Chicago Sky forward Candace Parker was taken down a few pegs by her own daughter on Thursday during the WNBA draft. While Parker is already considered by many as one of the greatest female basketball players of all time, her 11-year-old daughter Lailaa Nicole Williams does not seem too impressed.

While watching the 2021 WNBA draft, in which Charli Collier was picked first overall by the Dallas Wings, Candace Parker revealed this humbling (not to mention hilarious) mother-daughter exchange.

Candace Parker, of course, was the cream of the crop of the 2008 WNBA class which included the likes of Sylvia Fowles and Candice Wiggins. She was the consensus no.1 overall pick for the Los Angeles Sparks that year following a stellar collegiate career with the Tennessee Lady Volunteers.

For sure, Lailaa is aware that her mom is a WNBA champion, a Finals MVP, and a two-time WNBA MVP. However, the fact that she questioned what round Candace Parker was picked in is just simply hysterical.

Of course, Lailaa can probably get away with silly questions like this one and we'll give her a pass. But next time, google your own mother, kid. Candace Parker would agree.

The 2021 WNBA season, meanwhile, will start next month. In the meantime, Parker is keeping busy moonlighting as an analyst for NBA on TNT. The now 34-year-old WNBA superstar will start a new chapter in her storied career after joining her hometown Chicago Sky in the offseason. Candace Parker spent 13 years as a member of the Sparks, and seeing her in a different uniform will take some time to get used to.
