When Apex Legends Legacy came out, many players flocked in droves out of excitement. The resulting audience turnout caused the servers to crash. Indeed, the new season for the game turned out to be the most popular and most successful so far. But a week after its release, excitement over the game's new game mode and exciting new changes faded. It has since been replaced by angry complaints about a new weapon that arrived in Legacy. And no, it's not a gun. It's the Bocek Bow that people have been complaining about.

Bocek Bow nerf coming soon, says Apex Legends developer

Thankfully, Apex Legends‘ Respawn's very own weapons designer David Bocek has come out to address the issue. The Bocek Compound Bow, affectionately named after him, came out to just be too powerful for the game to remain balanced. For the game to return to its former balanced self, the Bocek Bow needs to be nerfed. And David Bocek himself confirmed that a nerf will be arriving soon. When? We don't know yet, but hopefully sooner rather than later.

The Apex Legends Bow has proven itself to be too powerful that one user commented a list of nerfs he feels the weapon needs, and it's a long list:

The Bocek Bow's strong power in mid-range and faster-than-others reload speed has made it a powerhouse, especially in Apex Legends Arena. A very accurate weapon with arrows shooting almost as fast as any bullet but very silent. It's especially deadly with Deadeye's Tempo Hop-Up, and the Bocek Bow can have up to two Hop-Ups. The Bocek Bow is also very ammo efficient, with a stack of 48 arrows taking up only one inventory slot. It's no wonder that users like Panzar feel so strongly about the Bocek Bow.

It's good to know that Respawn looks over us and knows that they've created something they shouldn't have. We'll just have to wait for the Bocek Bow to get nerfed in Apex Legends.
