Damian Lillard is tired of all the noise surrounding his endorsement of Chauncey Billups, and it doesn't look good for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Lillard has been on the receiving end of harsh criticisms since the Billups hiring, as many people don't like the former NBA point guard as head coach. Several people questioned Lillard's endorsement and Portland's decision because of the previous rape allegation thrown at the 44-year-old tactician. Simply put, critics believe it is not a good look for the team to have a coach with such history.

The Blazers star has since fired back to those talks, but his latest cryptic tweet raises concerns of his relationship with Portland fans going sour.

A fan apologized to Damian Lillard for getting hate on the hiring, to which the Blazers guard responded that he already accepts people will keep hating no matter what.

The Blazers are hoping that a change of voice in the locker room will help propel the team to the next level. However, the current development appears to be more problematic for the team.

While Lillard is known to be one of the most loyal players in the NBA, the hate he has been getting could serve as a fuel for trade rumors to pop out once again. It would not be the first time Dame would spark such talks, as he had been involved in trade talks after his cryptic Instagram post following their exit in the 2021 playoffs.

It should be a rather eventful offseason for Lillard and the Blazers.
