The Portland Trail Blazers have been the talk of the NBA all summer long as rumors regarding superstar guard Damian Lillard have been somewhat endless. Trade requests have been reported, then refuted, then surfaced again in what has been a wild few months.

Nonetheless, the trade rumors are still swirling, and one fan wanted to make a bet that Lillard would suit up as a Laker before the season began. Lillard hilariously responded on Twitter, and perhaps this answers the questions that have been floating around:

Lillard is as candid as always, and this could potentially be him shutting down all trade rumors and perhaps signaling his desire to remain with the Blazers for now.

Either way, a trade to the Los Angeles Lakers would be incredibly difficult, especially after the Lakers brought in Russell Westbrook via trade on draft night.

Lillard is one of the top players in the NBA, and if he does in fact formally ask for a trade, a ton of teams across the league should be calling the Blazers for his services. But, for now, Lillard refutes this latest tweet from a fan.

The truth is, nobody knows if Lillard wants out, but it sure seems as if he doesn't envision himself going to the Lakers.
