Portland Trail Blazers all-star guard Damian Lillard switched hands midair to score on an acrobatic layup. This was in the tail-end of the third quarter against the Chicago Bulls.

The Blazers ended up winning against the Bulls by a score of 124-122.

For the Bulls, Wendell Carter Jr. was their lead scorer. He had 22 on the evening on seven of nine shooting from the field. He also grabbed six rebounds. Zach LaVine added 18 on the night, Bobby Portis scored 15, and Kris Dunn also scored 15 points but also had five rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.

The Bulls slow offense isn't really helping much. Their newly promoted head coach asks them not to run in the fastbreak and instead wants them to work in the halfcourt. This means posting up one of Robin Lopez, Lauri Markkanen, or Carter Jr. Oftentimes, the offense simply doesn't work, leaving Dunn and LaVine to force shots that aren't there.

For the Blazers, C.J. McCollum was their leading scorer. He had 24 points with three rebounds and four assists. Lillard contributed 16 points with 10 assists, dishing out the ball fairly easily all game long. Jusuf Nurkic also added 18 points and grabbed 8 boards. Zach Collins came off the bench and had 16 points as well.

Overall, the Blazers just shot 10 percent better from the field while grabbing ix more rebounds and six more assists. They simply outplayed the Chicago Bulls all game long.

The Blazers are now 25-17 on the season and sit in the 6th seed of the NBA's Western Conference. They will face off next against the Charlotte Hornets at home.
