ClutchPoints has raised $500,000 in seed stage funding from Eytan Elbaz, Gil Elbaz, Brandon Werber, Tony Chen, Richard Wolpert, Jonathan Zweig, Michael Ross; both ActOne Ventures and TenOneTen Ventures contributed.

Eytan, who founded what eventually became Google Adsense with his brother Gil, will also serve as an advisor for ClutchPoints founder and CEO Nish Patel.

“I first met Eytan when I started Bruin Entrepreneurs and we brought him as a speaker at his alma mater,” said Patel. “I always asked him for advice due to his love for sports, albeit as a Spurs fan, as well as his media roots through Render Media, his influencer roots through Social Native, his advertising roots through Applied Semantics (which became Google AdSense), and his app roots through Scopely. Those were the exact places where ClutchPoints needs to grow. So when Eytan expressed interest in investing in us, I was super excited at the potential to work with someone that had been there, done that. And when he wanted to advise us on top of that, it was a great day for our young company.”

The ClutchPoints network currently has 3.4M unique users and more than 200 social media accounts.
