Sacramento Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins has been talked about a lot recently. Whether is it his comments about the Kings' management, trade rumors surrounding him, or his involvement with the USA basketball team, Cousins has definitely been a popular topic of discussion this summer.
In a tweet from Sean Cunningham of ABC10 Sacramento, United States National team head coach Mike Krzyzewski shares his thoughts on Boogie:
‘Our relationship is really good. And he's gotten in unbelievable shape for this; he wants to be here'
That is high praise coming from such a respected and successful basketball mind.
The buzz is unlikely to quiet down during Cousins' time with the USA basketball team. As we all know, the former Kentucky big man is always thrown into trade discussions and has expressed his dissatisfaction with Kings' management in the past.
Is it possible that Cousins could be developing a relationship with players he could potentially create a super team with in the future? It is likely that the Kings would trade Cousins before he is able to walk for nothing as a free agent in two years, but that is awhile down the road.
A lot of speculation has been and will be made on where Cousins will end up in the future, but for right now, it is worth noting the compliments he has received from Coach K.
