Jon Jones has been under a lot of scrutiny recently following his arrest for Domestic Violence. It has been said that he pulled his wife's hair and potentially hit her after she was found with a bruise and busted lip.

The recent arrests of Chuck Liddell and Luis Pena have led to people saying that Jon Jones needs to have severe consequences for his actions. Many articles and editorials came out about why the UFC should cut ties with the former UFC light heavyweight champion.

The UFC chose to cut Luis Pena after the details came out in his case where he punched his girlfriend and then hit another woman as she tried to break up the altercation. The situation was grisly and Dana White was asked about it in the post-fight press conference following DWCS on Tuesday.

“Well, this was a bad case,” White told reporters. “And we knew that [Peña] had problems before we were trying to help him with. And yeah, this is a pretty nasty one. I don’t know if you guys read the police report, but yeah, this one had to happen.”

Jon Jones naturally came up next and Dana White was asked if Jon Jones would get cut as well. White wasn't quite as clear-cut with his answer.

“Something like that could happen to anybody,” White assured. “Yeah. It could happen to anybody.”
