During the second quarter of their game against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant showed that he can knock down a jumper even in a very challenging situation.

After receiving the ball on a drop-off from Zaza Pachulia, Durant lost his left shoe. That did not stop him from attacking the basket, as he was able to convert on a tough one-footed jumper off-the-glass.

The Warriors brought Durant over during the summer to provide them with another weapon to help them recapture the championship they lost last June, and plays like this remind everyone that KD is a former MVP.

Golden State went on to defeat the Suns 106-100 and improve their record to 2-1. They will look to make it three wins in a row when they face the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
