It's been a rough year for the Los Angeles Lakers and it could get work if they miss the playoffs entirely. They currently sit out of the play-in game and need to catch San Antonio Spurs if they hope to have a chance to make the postseason. Injuries have been a key issue for this franchise but Anthony Davis is tired of the ridicule from the media.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Anthony Davis went on a little rant about the criticism he receives regarding his injuries. The Lakers' star claims, “last year when I wasn't playing, people were saying ‘AD's giving up on his team. It's the playoffs. AD has to play. He's got to play.' And when I went out there to play, got hurt again, they said, ‘Who was his trainer? Who let him play?'”

It's hard to argue against Davis' point. Many offer their opionions through social media, fans and media alike, on injuries. Hopefully, the Lakers star can get back on track, but he continues his rant by stating:

“So, what the [expletive] do you want me to do? When I play, it's a problem. It's a problem when I don't play. At the end of the day, I've got to do what's best for me and how my body feels. And we go from there. I'm not worried about who's saying what or who thinks this about me because none of them have stepped on the floor and played. And the ones that did play, they should understand.” – Lakers superstar Anthony Davis.

We'll see how it plays out for LA. They only have four games left on the regular season and are currently on a six-game losing streak. Their best bet is participaing in the play-in game, but it's not looking good for the Lakers right now.
