The Los Angeles Lakers protested on Saturday by kneeling during the national anthem once again. However, while the cause has been emphasized, some fans could help but notice LeBron James' hairline.

To be fair though, LeBron's receding hairline has been the butt of jokes for a long time now. Of course, the Lakers star fixes it from time to time.Β  Nonetheless, perhaps with the lack of resources in the NBA bubble, the true condition of James' hairline has been exposed.

With that said, internet trolls weren't able to hold back and poked fun at James.

Jokes aside, it seems LeBron James has embraced his receding headline. Before going viral for it on Saturday ahead of Game 5 against the Portland Trail Blazers, James actually trolled himself by posting β€œone of the funniest” memes about his hair (or the lack thereof).

Trolls and fans can make fun of him all they want, but LeBron certainly had the last laugh after helping the Lakers eliminate the Blazers and secure their ticket to the second round.

James finished with a triple-double of 36 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. More amazingly, he did it efficiently on 14-of-19 shooting from the field β€” including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc.

Anthony Davis top-scored the Lakers with a monster 43 points on top of nine rebounds and four assists.

On the other hand, without Damian Lillard, the Blazers had to rely on CJ McCollum, who stepped up and finished with 36 markers. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough even though they were able to tie the game mid-way through the final quarter.
