The Los Angeles Lakers' recent activity in the free agent market seems to have gotten LeBron James excited. With news recently breaking that LA had successfully lured Montrezl Harrell to the Purple and Gold, James took to social media to post a photo of himself with his new teammate.

Here's a screenshot from LeBron's IG Stories:

For what it's worth, Montrezl Harrell caught wind of LeBron James' post and responded with a comment of his own for his new Lakers teammate.

Harrell caused shockwaves on Friday when it was announced that he had opted to leave the Los Angeles Clippers only to sign with their crosstown rivals in the Lakers. As he mentioned in his post above, however, he does not owe anybody any explanation.

Last season with the Clippers, the 6-foot-7 big man averaged 18.6 points (on 58.0 percent shooting), to go along with 7.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 block in 27.8 minutes off the bench. His outstanding production resulted in Harrell deservedly winning the Sixth Man of the Year award.

Harrell is a great addition to the Lakers, who could serve as a tremendous scoring punch for the second unit. The energy he brings to the floor is second to none, and with Dwight Howard opting to take his talents to the Philadelphia 76ers, Harrell presents himself as a more than a capable replacement.

Harrell reportedly agreed to a $19 million-plus deal for two years, which on paper appears to be quite a bargain for the Lakers. Clearly, the defending champs are not messing around with their offseason moves.
