LeBron James muscled his way en route to an and-1 opportunity and Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant immediately gave his approval.

Peep the clip below per NBA TV. James — a one-man fastbreak — powered his way and sneaked in a layup against three Atlanta Hawks defenders. Bryant, who's in attendance, was more than pleased seeing his friend and former rival finish the play.

A few moments before the play, the two actually shared a moment together.

Back when Bryant was still playing, he and James competed in the most-anticipated and competitive games ever. After all, the two were considered the face of the league back then.

Now, the two are on the same side. Bryant donned the Laker jersey all his professional career and he's a Laker for life. James, meanwhile, is bent on adding to the legacy of the Purple and Gold.
