Have you ever had a really bad hair day? Especially one that directly affects you while you're on the job? Look no further than what happened to Orlando Magic guard Elfrid Payton during Monday night's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

With the Magic leading the Nets 12-10 a little more than midway through the first quarter, Payton tried to chuck up a shot in the paint that came up well short. Who was the prime culprit that forced such a bad shot? Payton's very own hair.

In a video posted to Twitter by The Render, the Magic point guard proceeds to airball a relatively easy-looking shot. The hilarious clip, in all of its glory, can be viewed below:

It's one thing to have one of your teammates commit friendly fire, but your own hair? It's definitely a rarity, that's for sure. Elfrid Payton at least got a good laugh out of it, though.

Despite the goofy blunder, Payton and the Magic (12-26) fell by a score of 98-95 to the Nets in a hard-fought contest. On the night, Payton finished with 17 points on 7-of-15 shooting to go along with seven assists, four rebounds, and two steals.
