After a recent six-game winning streak, the L.A. Clippers are now on a two-game skid and in search of a way to immediately stop the bleeding against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. According to ClutchPoints' own Tomer Azarly, the Clippers will get quite a boost tonight as star center DeAndre Jordan will play against the Celtics.

This is a pretty huge announcement, to say the least. The Clippers, who have been absolutely decimated by the injury bug so far this season, get Jordan back for tonight's game at Staples Center after the star center had missed the team's past five games due to an ankle injury.

Jordan has been the subject of trade rumors over the past weeks, and they seem to only intensify as the deadline nears. Teams such as the Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets have reportedly been at the forefront in the pursuit of the former All-NBA First Team member's services.

In 41 starts this season for the Clippers, the All-Star center is currently averaging 11.8 points, a whopping 14.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 block per game in roughly 32.1 minutes of action. He's been a steady presence down low for the team throughout the year, especially during the absence of Blake Griffin.

Azarly also tweeted out that the Celtics will be without two of their key players tonight against the Clippers.

Tonight's contest, which features the Eastern Conference's top team in the Celtics, will tip off shortly after 7:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. The Celtics (34-14) have lost four straight games, including a 108-107 loss to their hated rival the Los Angeles Lakers last night.
