Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards is quite the entertainer both on and off the court. His can't miss interviews are truly a gem to watch and have caught the attention of Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant.
Here's the 19-year-old's latest hilarious sound bite, which caught the eye of Ja Morant, last year's NBA Rookie of The Year.

At one point, Edwards was just talking about his two-way prowess but somehow managed to include his “dancing earrings” in the conversation. Even the reporter couldn't help but chuckle. Ja Morant re-tweeted this clip on Sunday and had this response.

“Yooo bro a clown,” he wrote, including two laughing-crying emojis.
As we all know by now, Anthony Edwards is indeed quite the character. It's not a facade or an attempt to gain more fans. The kid is simply being real and we all love him for it. The former University of Georgia standout has already shared several hysterical quotes this season, including admitting he has no idea about the Wolves' new incoming owner Alex Rodriguez.
Ja Morant, on the other hand, is also quite fond of how carefree Edwards has been. Ja, for his part, has had his own shenanigans this season, including running away with his entire team's Philly cheesesteaks post-match grub earlier this month.
The pair of lively youngsters could have a lot more in common by the season's end if Edwards also wins NBA Rookie of The Year, following up on what Ja Morant did in 2020. Edwards, a 6-foot-4 swingman, has become the favorite for the ROY plum following LaMelo Ball's wrist injury with the Charlotte Hornets. In 61 games, Edwards has been a revelation for the struggling Wolves, tallying 18.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 steals. He finished with 23 points and nine boards in Minny's 101-96 win over the Utah Jazz in their last game.
