The Brooklyn Nets have not had the best of luck with having James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving all available at the same time since the trade. Despite this, they have racked up a pretty impressive win-loss statistic against the better teams in the league.

Per Marc J. Spears of ESPN, with the Nets' win over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, they are now 8-3 against Western Conference teams. Against the top eight Western squads, they are 6-0.

Given that the West is considered the toughest conference with the better teams, this is definitely a great achievement for the Steve Nash-coached squad.

This stat isn't just a result of cherry-picking either. Against all teams with a .500 win rate or better, the Nets are 10-3.

While a lot can still happen in the season, the statistics show that the Nets — despite not on full power — can go toe-to-toe with the best of them. Their relative success is definitely due to Nash's coaching system, as well as their deep roster.

Yes, the names Harden, Irving, and Durant will always be on the headlines. But players like Joe Harris, DeAndre Jordan, Jeff Green, Tyler Johnson, and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot are as important as the aforementioned stars.

So far, Nets fans can safely say that the blockbuster trade has is working in their favor. It hurt to let Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, and Taurean Prince go. After all, it seemed like the Nets can win with just two stars and a bunch of solid players. But overall, letting all those three go while retaining much of their core was a win-win.
