The Indiana Pacers made a splash Sunday, sending Caris LeVert to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Ricky Rubio's expiring contract, a 2022 first round pick, 2022 second round pick and a 2027 second round pick. It was quite the haul for a team clearly in a rebuild. Reportedly, they are far from finished.

According to ESPN senior NBA writer Adrian Wojnarowski, Domantas Sabonis and Myler Turner are still in trade talks.

There has been speculation that both Sabonis and Turner could be on the move this season, but nothing had landed.

Myles Turner is considered one of the best defenses players in the league. He leads the league by a wide margin in blocks per game, posting 2.8 of them. The next closest is Rudy Gobert who is averaging 2.3 blocks per game. Turner also has an offensive side to his game. He is scoring 13 points per game, on 51 percent shooting. In recent years, he has even added the three-point shot to his repertoire.

Meanwhile, Sabonis is a two-time NBA All-Star. Despite not being named to the team this year, he has been utterly dominant once again. Sabonis is putting up mini-LeBron type numbers. He is averaging over 19 points, 12 rebounds and five assists per game. He would undoubtedly add front court depth and scoring to someone's roster if he gets traded.

The Pacers are 19-35 and sit seven games out of the final spot for the Play-In Tournament. The Eastern Conference is as deep as it has been in 20 years, making the rebuild that much more essential for Indiana's future.

The NBA Trade Deadline is only four days away.
