Who Is The Grizzlies' 6th Man?

Jaren Jackson Jr.'s injury early in the season prompted significant changes in coach Taylor Jenkins' rotation. Brandon Clarke briefly took over Jackson's starting spot, but Grayson Allen eventually became a more regular starter.

Through 53 games, Clarke averaged 10.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1 steal. The 6-foot-8 power forward has been productive for the Grizzlies regardless if he starts or comes off the bench.

The good news for Memphis is that they have more than a couple of options beyond Clarke. Rookie shooting guard Desmond Bane has proven that he can provide a nice scoring punch for the second unit, while veteran swingman Justise Winslow could also find his form with his new team. Whatever the case may be, this squad has a nice collection of second-string players on their roster.

What Is The Grizzlies’ Starting Lineup?

The Grizzlies entered the 2020-21 season with their cornerstone stud, Ja Morant, occupying the starting point guard spot. Dillion Brooks joins him in the backcourt as the starting shooting guard. Kyle Anderson and Jaren Jackson Jr. are the starting forwards (though with Jackson’s injury, Grayson Allen has been the primary starter in his place), while big man Jonas Valenciunas serves as the Grizzlies’ starting center.
