Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul has arguably one of the coolest monikers in NBA history: “Point God”. The nickname stems back from his early days in the league, where he would display his insane floor general abilities on the court for the Hornets. He's arguably one of the best point guards of all-time.

This season, CP3 proved again that he belongs in the conversation of the greatest point guards of all time. The Phoenix Suns star is leading the league in assists this season with 10.8, marking the fifth time he's done that in his career. That puts Chris Paul on the same territory as John Stockton, as well as Arizona legends Steve Nash and Jason Kidd, among others. (via Kellan Olson)

This obviously is impressive at it's own right. The art of finding the open man in a chaotic game like basketball and giving him the perfect pass is one that Paul has perfected. However, what's arguably more impressive is the Suns star doing this while avoiding a large turnover number.

On the season, Paul is averaging just under 2.3 turnovers per game. For someone like Paul to handle the ball as much as he does and not give away any freebies is impressive. He had multiple games during the Suns' Finals run last season where he'd rack up double-digit assists without a single turnover.

The Suns have comfortably taken control of the Western Conference this season, taking the top spot with a franchise-record 64 wins. As a result of their stellar play in the regular season, they now hold home-court advantage all the way to Finals. However, the challenge for them will be to make it back to that stage in the first place.
