The Tennessee Volunteers aren't doing great this season. Las Vegas has noticed. And now the Vols are a five-touchdown underdog heading into their game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

For a little quick history as to how absurd that line is, in the previous 99 meetings between Tennessee and Alabama, the Vols have lost by 35 or more points exactly four times. Just four times.

The first came in 1906 (51-0), the second in 1963 (35-0). The last two times? The 2013 game mentioned above and 2016 (49-10).

Anyway, this is all just a con by me, an internet scribbler, to relay my favorite cover song of all-time. Lyrics will be below the single:

Fire Butch on Sunday

I can’t believe this game today
Why can’t John Currie just make Butch go away.
How long ? how long until Butch is gone?
How long? how looooong….must we wait?
We could’ve won this game today!

1st and goal on the one and we’ve got them beat.
Give it to JFK  and let him uses his feet.
3 pass plays later
Tim priest cries. (Damnit!!)
I swear one day Butch is gonna make that poor man die!

Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday

And the seasons just begun
When it’s over I doubt there’ll be 6 games we’ll have Won!
So many stupid plays he calls.
‘Brick by Brick’ my ass
You throw our hearts up against the wall!!

Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on  Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday

How long, how long until Butch is gone?

Griff & Chris in Georgia call us Nega Vols
Cuz we don’t sniff at the alter of Butch Jones’ balls.
It’s time to find a winning coach at Tennessee
Just back the brinks truck up and hire Chip Kelly

Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday

Volnation lemme hear you say
No more!
No more!
No more!
No more!

Throw those bricks away
Throw those bricks away
Throw those bricks away
Throw those bricks away

Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday
Fire Butch on Sunday
