During the first quarter of the crucial 109-104 victory for the Oklahoma City Thunder over the New Orleans Pelicans on Easter Sunday, the Thunder scored its first two baskets in style thanks to center Steven Adams who scored back-to-back dunks on Pelicans center Emeka Okafor and star power forward Anthony Davis.

After the Thunder big man took a pass from superstar point guard Russell Westbrook in the paint, Adams went right after Okafor and threw down a one-handed poster slam.

Adams was simply not done yet. For the second Thunder basket of the game, Westbrook threw up an alley-oop to Adams and he promptly threw it down on Davis too.

The duo of dunks, which was posted on Twitter by the official SportsCenter account, can be viewed in the video below.

On the night, Adams had yet another solid double-double performance for the Thunder with 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, 1o rebounds, and one blocked shot in 36 minutes of action.

However, it was Westbrook and star forward Paul George who stole the show on Easter Sunday with their efforts. George led all scorers with 27 points, eight rebounds, and three steals, while Westbrook casually went off for yet another triple-double and had 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting, 15 rebounds, and 13 assists in 37 minutes on the court.

On Tuesday night, the Thunder (45-33) will face a very tough challenge when they host the defending champion Golden State Warriors at Chesapeake Energy Arena. With Sunday's victory, Oklahoma City currently sits as the No. 5 seed and remains just a half game back of the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference playoff race.
