Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Jimmy Butler must be a bit bored this summer.

Butler is not pulling any punches this offseason as he continues his streak of pranking friends and even former teammates (ask Dwyane Wade).

In this video, the 2015 Most Improved Player and his friend were about to do the “Trust Me” challenge before Butler stepped back right when his friend was about to fall down.

The Wolves took their own hit when the four-time All-Star rejected a contract extension offer this summer. With free agency looming for him next year, Butler is poised to receive more lucrative offers, including the possibility of teaming up with Kyrie Irving on the New York Knicks.

But for now, Butler remains with the Wolves, and soon all of his summer jokes will turn serious as they try to prove their mettle in a tough Western Conference.

After playing his best season as a Chicago Bull in 2016-17, Butler was shipped to Minnesota in an attempt by the Bulls to go into full rebuilding mode. One of the best two-way players in the NBA, Butler put up impressive averages of 22.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists and a career-best 2.0 steals a game last season.

However, the Wolves were steamrolled by an even more impressive Houston Rockets team in the first round of the postseason. Things won't get any easier this upcoming campaign.
