The Tennessee Titans keep chugging along, piling up impressive victory after impressive victory after defeating the New Orleans Saints, 23-21. They now sit atop the AFC at 8-2.

Two weeks ago, the Titans went to Los Angeles and beat down the 7-1 Rams. That led to this past week's winning performance against the Saints. Here are three key takeaways from that victory.

When Pro Bowl running back Derrick Henry went down with a foot injury in Week 8, most people in the business just figured that the Titans season was over. Clearly, they had another thing coming. However, without Derrick Henry, things are getting more difficult.

In the win over the Saints, Tennessee ran for only 66 yards. Granted, that was against the league's best rush defense in New Orleans. But still, the combination of Adrian Peterson, D'Onta Foreman and Jeremy McNichols struggled to get anything going.

Here is how dominant and great Derrick Henry is. Following missing his 2nd straight game, he still leads the NFL in rushing.

Following Henry's injury, the Titans quickly went out and signed the future Hall of Fame running back, Adrian Peterson. But he is showing his age thus far. That prompted the Titans to then sign D'Onta Foreman off waivers. But Foreman has had opportunities in the past and did not make much of them.

Another key takeaway from the game against the Saints is that the Titans really need to add another wide receiver. Julio Jones was placed on the IR and looks to be done for the year. A.J. Brown is a legitimate elite receiver. No questions about that. But if you can take him away, Ryan Tannehill is not left with many places to turn.

Sunday, Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore shadowed A.J. Brown all over the field and held him to one catch for 16 yards. For the season, the next leading wide receiver in yardage this season is Chester Rogers with 195 yards receiving. The Titans have played 10 games and the team's 2nd leading wide receiver on the roster has less than 200 yards. That's a problem. Keep in mind, Julio Jones had 336 but we can discount him now.

Marcus Johnson stepped up big in the win vs New Orleans with 100 yards. Tennessee is going to need a lot more of that going forward.

The final key takeaway from the Titans Week 10 win over the Saints is this team is not going to back down to anyone. The Saints are notorious for being one of the, if not the, most physical teams in football. Tennessee lined up and went toe to toe with them.

Offensively, that starts with All Pro tackle Taylor Lewan.

This team has clearly taken on the personality of their head coach, Mike Vrabel. Vrabel, the former New England Patriot linebacker, is a no-nonsense coach who wants to punch his opponent in the mouth. He doesn't believe in making excuses and expects everyone to do their job. I wonder where he learned that from.
