After Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were elected as the next president and vice president of the United States, respectively, the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry sent a meaningful gift to Harris–who is an Oakland native.

While Biden and Harris won the election, Harris becomes the first female and African-American vice president in history. She grew up in Oakland, California and will now be making her way to Washington D.C to be the vice president next to Biden.

Even though the Warriors moved from the Oakland area to the San Francisco area, they recently unveiled their “Oakland Forever” jerseys that they'd be wearing in the 2020-21 season. And so with Kamala Harris representing the Oakland natives, Stephen Curry autographed one of the city jerseys with a congratulatory statement to her.

Besides Curry and the Warriors, LeBron James was another superstar in the NBA that expressed his excitement for Biden and Harris being elected.
