Golden State Warriors guard Damion Lee bounced back in a big way against the Sixers with the best game of his career after a brutal closing minute in a loss to the Toronto Raptors. Warriors forward Eric Paschall, who defended Lee following the Raptors game, once again made a shoutout to the two-guard's critics after their massive home win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Speaking post-game, Paschall also reminded everyone just how much adversity the undrafted guard has endured throughout his career.

To recall, Lee committed a myriad of gaffes down the stretch against the Raptors. With 25 seconds remaining, he missed two free-throws that would have cut Toronto's lead to two.

The Warriors secured the offensive rebound after his two misses. This presented the Lee with a golden chance to redeem himself as he found himself wide-open on a three. Unfortunately, just like his two freebies, his triple rattled in and out.

After Golden State regained possession for third servings, the ball found its way to Lee once again. However, Lee fumbled on the catch and turned the ball over, ultimately sealing the loss for the Dubs.

Lee's brutal stretch may have lit a fire underneath him as he redeemed himself in a huge way. The 27-year old was instrumental in Golden State's home win over the Sixers. He top-scored for the Curry-less Dubs with 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting to go along with six rebounds, three assists, and three 3-pointers. Paschall, meanwhile, finished with 23 points, three rebounds, and six assists in 29 minutes off the bench.

Lee and Paschall have both been bright spots for a rather dark 2019-20 season for the Warriors. Their strong campaigns have likely locked them a spot in Golden State's regular rotation when they get everyone back healthy next season.

The Warriors are assembling a foundation which — when made whole — could be so much greater than the sum of its parts.
