Golden State Warriors superstar Klay Thompson has been out of basketball for almost three years. He first tore his ACL during the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. After a lengthy recovery, he appeared ready to make his return. Sadly, in November of 2020, Thompson then tore his achilles tendon. That cost him an entire 2nd season.

However, recent reports have stated that Thompson is finally nearing his return to the court. That will make Warriors fans everywhere smile. But it seems to have brought even more joy to his superstar teammate, Stephen Curry.

Curry narrated an epic video, capturing Thompson battle through recovery.

It has 930 days since “The Splash Brothers” shared the court together. They went from the brink of another NBA Championship, to the bottom of the Western Conference, seemingly overnight.

In an inspirational three and a half minute video, Curry talks us all through everything Thompson has dealt with. He brings you from the injury in the 2019 NBA Finals, through his rehab, to the achilles injury. Curry, and the rest of the world has been ready and waiting for the return of Klay Thompson to basketball.

Prior to the injury, Curry, Thompson and Draymond Green had built a dynasty in Golden State. The Warriors had made five consecutive appearances in the NBA Finals, winning three of them. Had Klay Thompson not torn his ACL during the 2019 Finals, it might have been four titles.

Whether or not you like the Warriors, you can't help but root for Klay Thompson knowing everything he has dealt with.
