Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr is convinced that his team is exactly where he wants it to be this season.

Everything seems to be going right for the Warriors thus far. They have won nine of their first 10 games and Kerr is pleased with how the entire team functions as a unit. More importantly, he is thrilled to acknowledge the consistency of Stephen Curry and the resurgence of Draymond Green.

“This is how it should be for the Warriors with Steph Curry and Draymond Green leading the way,” Kerr said via NBC Sports. “This is how it should feel. I think it felt this way the last 20 games of last year. The joy from the crowd. It just feels right.”

“We’ve got a team that looks after each other, it’s a deep team,” the coach continued. “There’s a lot of weapons, a lot of different options for us as a coaching staff. And a group that’s really unselfish and connected. I’m excited for the team and I'm excited for our fans because I think they’re really enjoying watching this group play.”

Curry has entered the new NBA season scorching hot, averaging 27.6 points per game. The two-time scoring champion put on another statement performance in the Warriors' recent thumping of the Atlanta Hawks, where he dropped a season-high 50 points.

Green, meanwhile, appears to be back in his old form and is making a huge impact as a court general, having registered an impressive seven rebounds and nine assists to his name.
