The Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks are two NFL teams on opposite ends of the spectrum entering Week 2.

While the Steelers were hammered by the New England Patriots by a score of 33-3 in their season opener, the Seahawks are coming off of a gritty one-point win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Now, Pittsburgh will be playing to Seattle this Sunday as it looks to avoid falling into an 0-2 hole while the Seahawks are looking to get off to an impressive 2-0 start.

So, here is the Fantasy Football outlook for this pivotal matchup.

QB's

Russell Wilson wasn't tremendous in Week 1, but he was solid with the opportunities he was given, completing 14 of his 20 passes for 195 yards and a couple of touchdowns.

The Seahawks don't throw the ball all that much, so while 20 pass attempts for Wilson is still low, it's not too far out of the ordinary.

With Seattle going into this matchup on the road, you can probably expect more of the same, as the Seahawks will likely try and pound the football a bit, particularly with their shortage of weapons in the aerial attack.

I do, however, expect Wilson to throw more than 20 passes this time around, and the fact that he takes care of the football makes him a decent Fantasy play.

On the other side of the coin, Ben Roethlisberger was not good in the season opener, going just 27-for-47 with 276 yards and an interception.

I imagine Roethlisberger will play considerably better at home in a game the Steelers really need to win. He has a nice group of receivers even without Antonio Brown, and behind a strong offensive line, I think Big Ben will improve in Week 2.

Do I love him as a play in Week 2 against a solid Seahawks defense? Not necessarily, but I think he'll certainly be better than Week 1.

RB's

The Seahawks live off of their running game, so Chris Carson is always a good play in Fantasy.

Last week, Carson showed some promise as a receiver for a change, catching six passes for 34 yards and a touchdown in addition to carrying the ball 15 times for 46 yards and a score.

Expect Seattle to continue handing the ball off to Carson while also featuring second-year back Rashaad Penny a bit. Penny totaled six attempts for 18 yards in Week 1.

Carson rushed for 1,151 yards and nine touchdowns in 2018, so we know what he can do.

As for the Steelers, James Conner had a miserable season opener, logging just 21 yards off 10 carries.

Conner has proven that he can be a good running back in the NFL, as he made the Pro Bowl last season in his first year as a full-time starter, so Week 1 was probably an outlier.

This kid can catch the football in addition to what he can do as a rusher, so he is a versatile option who can't possibly be any worse than he was last weekend.

The Seahawks are only decent as far as run defense goes, so Conner seems like a good play in Week 2.

WR's

This is where it gets tricky for Seattle.

We know about Tyler Lockett, who is one of the most underrated wide receivers in the league, but behind him, the Seahawks don't exactly have much else.

David Moore is out, and while rookie D.K. Metcalf had a strong debut with four catches for 89 yards last Sunday, he remains very unproven, especially in the harsh confines of Heinz Field.

Lockett caught just one pass last week, which happened to be a 44-yard touchdown grab, so look for the Seahawks to try and get him more involved in this contest, making him a solid play.

For Pittsburgh, we know that JuJu Smith-Schuster is the main attraction. The third-year wide out hauled in six receptions for 78 yards in a so-so season opener, but with Brown gone, his targets should skyrocket throughout the course of the season, making him a perennially great play so long as he stays healthy.

Donte Moncrief was nearly invisible in Week 1, logging just three catches for seven years, and second-year receiver James Washington showed some big-play ability by catching two passes for 51 yards.

The jury is still out on Moncrief and Washington, but Smith-Schuster is just fine to roll with.

TE's

The Seahawks have a major hole at tight end.

They are starting second-year player Will Dissly, who was drafted in the fourth round last year and managed just eight catches during his rookie campaign. He tallied one grab for 12 yards in Week 1.

Basically, don't even think about starting Dissly in any of your Fantasy Leagues.

Steelers tight end Vance McDonald, on the other hand, was considered a sleeper by many coming into this season.

He was relatively quiet in the season opener, snaring two balls for 40 yards. He isn't Travis Kelce or George Kittle, but McDonald is still a relatively decent option in any week.

DST

Remember when Seattle consistently had one of the league's best defenses?

Those days are long gone. The Seahawks aren't bad defensively by any stretch, but they are really nothing more than solid, even with the addition of Jadeveon Clowney.

There is some turnover potential here, particularly given Roethlisberger's gunslinger mentality, and considering the Steelers mustered just three points last Sunday, Seattle could surprise some people with a strong defensive outing, so I guess the Seahawks defense isn't a terrible play.

The Steelers' defense was absolutely shredded by Tom Brady in Week 1, but that's Tom Brady.

Seattle's offense isn't exactly that strong, and I expect Pittsburgh's defensive front to put forth a better effort after finishing with just one sack against the Patriots.

I do think the Steelers will win this game, so I like their defense in this one.
