The NBA Trade Deadline is always an exciting time. Teams without playoff hope dump players for anything. Teams with playoff aspirations aim for a superstar, mortgaging the future for a chance at an NBA title and do whatever it takes when the NBA trade deadline rolls around.

Well the 2021 NBA Trade Deadline was no different, and the hours and minutes leading up to the final second were action-packed. Some superstars remainder where they were, although it sure seemed as if they were going to get dealt (ie, Kyle Lowry).

2021 NBA Trade Deadline: March 24, 2021

  • Detroit Pistons trade Delon Wright to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Cory Joseph.

March 25, 2021

  • Javale McGee goes to the Denver Nuggets and the Cleveland Cavaliers received Isaiah Hartenstein and two second-round picks.
  • Chicago Bulls land Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu, and the Orlando Magic got Wendall Carter, Otto Porter, and two future first-round picks.
  • Orlando Magic deal Evan Fournier to the Boston Celtics for a pair of second-round draft picks.
  • Three-team trade! The Celtics acquire Luke Kornet and Moe Wagner. The Wizards receive Daniel Gafford and Chad Hutchinson and the Bulls get Daniel Theis, Javonte Green, and Troy Brown Jr.
  • Sacramento Kings ship Nemanja Bjelica to the Miami Heat and get Moe Harkless and Chris Silva in return.
  • Miami Heat acquire Victor Oladipo from the Houston Rockets for Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk, and a pick swap.

  • Toronto Raptors trade Norman Powell to the Portland Trail Blazers for Gary Trent Jr. and Rodney Hood.

  • Dallas Mavericks acquire JJ Redick and Nicco Melli from the New Orleans Pelicans for James Johnson, Wes Iwundu, and a second-round pick.
